New Beginnings

Hi everyone!

Before I come to this week's dare, we wanted to thank those of you who played along with our Ruby Rock-it birthday dare last week! There certainly were some creative and imaginative interpretations - fab work you guys!

The winner of our Ruby Rock-it special prize pack is
Please email {Beckie} with your postal address

It's my turn to set the dare this week and well, today happens to be the day that one chapter of my daytime career ends and another begins. So, inspired by
"New Beginnings"
and everything they entail I challenged my fellow teamies to create a card on this very theme.

Whether new beginnings in work, love, family, life in general or in celebration of a new adventure, or simply sharing inspirational and uplifting words of wisdom - the choice is yours!

 The Design Team had some beautiful takes on this theme:

Ruby Rock-it Sponsor Dare

Good morning everyone!
We hope you enjoyed last weeks Christmas In July Dare and it has started your Christmas card making!
Today I am here to share the second sponsored Ruby Rock-It dare!

Here is a little about Ruby Rock-it :
Ruby Rock-it Designs was created by Fynmark in Australia in 2008. Already successful with other mainstream papercraft brands in the local market Creative Director Joanna wanted to create a new brand that focused on all the things she loved – vintage style papers and richly textured embellishments – and so Ruby Rock-it was born. “It’s an acknowledgement to my grandmothers who were a huge influence in my life growing up – their tea-cup patterns, their love of all things olde-worlde.”
There are just oodles of wonderful products for all types of crafters so why not take a peek at their {website} or follow them on their {facebook page}

So here is this week's dare!

*****
Birthday Rock!!

The products the DT are using are from the Fundamental range from Ruby Rock-it

The dare is to make a birthday card which is ROCK themed, this could be music or lots of bling to represent precious rocks.  I would also like to see the colour RUBY somewhere too.

*****
We have this wonderful little prize pack from RRBF for one lucky person who completes the dare this week (Winner will be drawn randomly just after next week's dare is revealed):

Here is some inspiration from the DT for you

Christmas In July

A big thank you to everyone that played along last week with Svenja's challenge, No Black, No Neutrals.

Its Dawn here and its my turn to host this weeks dare and guess what?
 It's Christmas!!!!

We all need to make a head start with these cards.  I know I have a few to make to post back to the UK.  Its always difficult to start making them early especially when the weather is so sunny and lovely. Get those Christmas tunes on and start feeling festive!

So I would like to see your Christmas Cards this week.

Lets see what the Design Team came up with:

No black, No neutrals

Good morning crafters!

First of all: Thanks to everyone who played along with last week’s elementary challenge. Isn’t it great to see such varied results all inspired by the same picture?

It’s Svenja here and I have a new challenge for you today:

No Black, No Neutrals

I'd like to see colours galore on your cards and absolutely no black and no other neutral colours. (You are allowed to have some white.)
Yes, it is indeed possible – we're a bit low on numbers thanks to summer holidays and life getting in the way of crafting (how dare it?), but check out what the Design Team has created for your inspiration, and pop back later when there should be more to see!

July's Elemental Inspiration

Hello everyone! It's Jo here with the first of July's dares.
A huge thank you if you joined in last week's fabulous Ruby Rock-it dare :)

The winner of the prize is
Się błyszczy
Please email {Beckie} with you postal address

I'm here this week with another Elemental Challenge for you all;
I chose the picture as it's light and summery - perfect for the fantastic weather we've been having;

This week as with every first week of a new month we would like you to pick out a minimum of three elements from the picture to design your card with.

 These elements could be anything at all but each can only be one thing, for example the colour can only be one - you can't separate them into individual colours. There are loads to choose from and you can see which ones the Design Team chose to use in their brilliant cards;
